§ 1 About Konexa

What is Konexa?

Konexa is a community that is about news from the field of science, nature and technology. But other issues are listed too. You can actively participate in this community by publishing for example articles, that interest you and which fit the konexa issues.

What can I publish?

You can publish everything what is interesting to you and other people and what fits into the issue of konexa. If you do write a longer article you can link to one of your products or write a short sentence about it. But it have to fit into the sense of the whole text. 

§ 2 Register

Is it useful to register?

With your registration you can author an article, your own blog or an item in the forum and this in german or english language. Grant access to defined users only. You do have permanently control about your items and you can change or delete them everytime. Also you can add pictures to your text and grant access only to selected persons.

How can I register?

You can register here. For the registration process it's important to declare your username, a valid eMail, your valid firstname and surname.

How can I change my data?

If you are logged in, look for My account at right menu and there for Edit. Here you can change your account data. You find your personal data by clicking on the item Member Information.

How to cancel my membership?

To cancel your membership it's necessary to write an eMail to administrator with your username, eMail, firstname and surname specified. You don't have to write reasons for your cancellation.

§ 3 Writing items

How to write a text?

To write a text you have to be logged in. Than goto Create content and select the defined text type. You have to enter a title and to select a language and one or more categories. The following field consist to enter your text. Please recognize to fill all necessary fields. By clicking on Submit or Preview the text will be saved. Please take care that you are the copyright owner of your text and that your content does not hurt any rights of third parties.

How to embedded pictures?

To place pictures into your text they have to be present at server. To do so use File attachements to upload your picture to server. Your picture is saved at the location you fnd below the image title. If editor is enabled use the accordingly icon and paste the image path and the width and height of your resulting image in the fields. If not you can use the following command to place a picture into your source: <img src="[URL of picture]" width="[width of picture]" height="[height of the picture]">. Then save your text. If you edit your text the second time, the picture had been uploaded and you can see it in the editor or preview. Please be sure to use the right dimensions of your picture that they aren't too large. You also have to own the copyright of all images you want to upload to our server.

How to change a text?

To change a text you have to be logged in, choose the text and click at edit.

How grant access to specified users only?

Select the text and click at Grant at the menu places at the top of the text. Search for username and then select the accordingly rights. By clicking onto Save Grants only some users have the rights to look up your text.

How to delete a text?

Select the text and click at Delete. After confirmation your text is deleted irrevocably.

My entries aren't accepted.

Please be sure that you filled out all necessary fields.

My picture isn't shown.

Be sure that you uploaded your picture. It can be possible to save a text once or twice before you can see the picture.

The picture is shown seperatly.

This could happen if the checkbox List is selected next to the File attachments picture. Replace it and save the text again.

What do I have to look for when I publish an item?

You have to be the copyright owner of your text or have the right of its owner to publish your text at this site. Also you have to be the copyright owner of all images which you upload to this site.

§ 4 Raffle

How can I participate in the raffle?

Raffles can be advertised in irregular intervals. If you are a member of Konexa you will automatically participate. With each item you publish you can earn points. The member who get the most points in the game period wins. In this case we will contact you.
