With the technology Direct Node Access it is possible to access and manipulate each note of an audio stream even within chords. Now it is possible to correct wrong played notes even after recording.

The recognition of notes and the modifying of pitch, timing, length and other parameters was only possible with unisonous instrumental or vocal recordings. If you tried to modify polyphonic records each note had been influenced equallywhat was a limitation since you could not create a new chord but only a displacement. To adapt the chords with sense and harmonious, to change it for example from minor to major, it is necessary to influence the individual notes.

Celomny_ now offers the new technology Direct Node Access with the possibility of recognizing and processing each node of a polyphonic recording although they had not been recorded seperately. Now you can vary the volume, pitch or length of each given note. You can also mute each one and create this way different variations or melodies from a recording.

Possibilities are to change wrong played notes subsequently. Now the wrong one has only to be deleted or corrected to the right tone pitch. What was known so far from MIDI-data can now be applied to each audio recording.
